Free Tools for the Jobs AI Does Not Cover
Not every task needs a model. Converting a PDF, generating an email signature, converting a video container or finding the official installer are old, solved problems, and paying a subscription for them is waste. These eight sites are free in the plain sense: no card, no trial clock, and in most cases no account. The limits are documented rather than hidden behind a paywall, which is the thing to check first.

How to choose
Judge a free tool on four things before you rely on it. First, what it does with your file: whether processing happens in the browser, whether files are uploaded, and how long they are kept. Second, the real ceiling, which is usually a file-size or format limit rather than a paywall. Third, whether you need an account, because an account is the price you pay later in email. Fourth, what you get out: a finished image is not a design file, and a link to a publisher is not a mirror. Everything on this page is free to use as described, with no trial expiry to plan around.
