What SocialBee is

SocialBee is social media management software organised around content categories. Instead of scheduling individual posts one at a time, you build categories — tips, promotions, curated links, evergreen posts — and add content to each; the queue then rotates through the categories on a schedule you define, so a feed stays mixed without manual planning. It supports the main networks, with recycling of evergreen posts, AI-assisted copy generation and a shared content library. Analytics and a basic engagement inbox are included, and team seats allow approval flows. It also generates a first batch of content from a website or a description, which shortens setup. The trade-off is that category-based scheduling rewards planning and punishes improvisation: if your posting is reactive, a queue model is more work than posting directly. Reporting is functional rather than deep. Each category can carry its own posting schedule, so a promotions feed can run less often than a tips feed.

Best for

  • Keeping a mixed feed running from evergreen categories
  • Small teams with an approval step before publishing
  • Recycling top posts without duplicating them by hand

Not ideal for

  • Reactive posting driven by news cycles
  • Deep analytics and attribution reporting

Pros

  • Category queues keep a feed varied without daily planning
  • Evergreen recycling extends the life of good posts
  • AI copy help shortens drafting

Cons

  • No free plan, only a trial
  • Queue model is awkward for reactive posting
  • Reporting is basic compared with analytics-first tools

Pricing in detail

There is no permanent free plan; a trial covers evaluation. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually and scale by the number of profiles, users and features such as approvals, shared libraries and deeper analytics. Annual billing lowers the monthly equivalent. Because price follows profile count, cost grows with the number of accounts rather than the size of the team. Confirm the profile allowance for each tier before choosing.
